A pair of Manfield shoe lasts with spatterdashes

An absolutely wonderful pair of very rare shoe lasts by British maker, Manfield. Stamped throughout.

These superb lasts even have their original “spatterdashes” or “spats” worn over the shoes to protect them from dirt and rain.

We’re able to date these to pre-1878, as after that date the maker became known as Manfield & Sons.

A rare and wonderful thing!
