A superb, very large (figure 42cm/16.5”) characterful, and rare lay figure. This interesting, early to mid 20th century example is wonderfully made and displays so well. It’s well carved, made with only peg joints - no screws (unlike modern examples) and has real personality! A rare thing - you do not often find them in this style and they are only going up in value.
