A simply superbly modelled, early piece by top maker Adam, Rouilly in the original (if worn!) box.
This model is no longer made, and the plastic is an early form (similar to mid century to 80s pieces we’ve had previously).
This half skeleton is exceptionally detailed- as good as the real thing. You will not find a more realistic example, or a more life like model. New examples cost between £1000-£1500 and do not have half the character or appeal of this fine example.
The perfect piece for education or display. Currently living in our wunderkammer at home!

A wonderful, oversized set of giltwood monk’s rosary beads.
This is an antique rosary which has been reworked.
At the centre of the crucifix is a 3D window housing the all-seeing eye (which looks like a traditional pieta or penitent Magdalene eye) surrounded by a flaming sacred heart. The four points have faux pearls embedded.
A very unusual piece!

Enormous at 56cm and utterly beautiful. This French marriage dome has everything- etched mirrors, repousse birds, flowers and leaves, that cushioned pillow, and all in such wonderful condition. All pieces are present and correct.

A beautiful, large (114cm!) and low antique footstool upholstered in a traditional antique Persian carpet.
Fully marked to the base with an ivorine maker’s label for J N Thornely of Thornbury (known for their Persian footstools). A true antique piece.
On solid wood cabriole legs. These are darkest brown-black having an ebonised look. The patina is perfectly worn.
