A 19th century lead Sphinx statue

A superb 19th century (or earlier) Sphinx cast in lead. A rare thing indeed and very unusual. Find another we say!

A good size at 14cm and very heavy . The use of this piece is unknown (it would make an excellent paperweight), but it is exceptionally decorative.
