A carved wooden coco de mer specimen (small)

A very rare and most unusual coco de mer study- we believe this piece is a carved wooden model but we cannot be sure (it could be a coco de mer early in its development?) so please satisfy yourself.

What we do know is that this piece may be small but it is perfectly formed and displays so well.

Extremely tactile and a wonderful curio for any wunderkammer.
