This wonderful Tridacna Gigas shell is a rare size and has magnificent form. Dating to c.1880, this piece has all the age related weathering you could ask for. A focal piece of any Natural History wunderkammer, it looks equally beautiful in a Victorian gentleman’s study, in a clean-lined modern apartment and everywhere in between. It makes a stunning addition to any bathroom as an over-bath caddy, or as a way to display fine toiletries and rolled towels. And outdoors, it looks equally grand chilling your finest champagne on ice or in a more naturalistic garden setting.
