A very large 4 plank table

This absolutely charming old 19th century oak table is perfect for adding a touch of rustic charm to any space.

It is epic in scale at 225cm long! The top isn’t attached to the base which makes getting such a large piece in situ much easier where access or logistics are tight. The top is so weighty and the base so sturdy that the two sit well together and do not suffer from not being attached. We think the top would also look sublime on a pair of cast iron or wooden trestles.

The top has that beautiful worn patina, and is a simple, honest and sturdy 4 plank construction. The base too is all wood- pegged not nailed. The whole set up is very heavy!

This table would make an epic dining table (ample 8 seater, easy 10), an ideal kitchen table or prep table, a superb shop/retail/commercial display table, the perfect workshop bench etc. It’s uses are almost as vast as it is! The whole piece has real character.

Pieces like this don’t come up often so don’t delay!

Old heating movement etc. Very solid and sturdy. And heavy! We believe that the top and base are a long standing marriage (they’ve been together a long time). The top fits the width of the base with no overhang- as seen the side is flush. Please note the low clearance.
