An oval rope style Hollywood Regency side table

A gorgeous, true Hollywood Regency table with the most wonderful flourishes.

No doubt by a maker like Maison Bagues (likely French but possibly Italian) but no identifying marks and we cannot find one like it.

The rope twist design to the metal frame is so fluid and attractive. The top has a marbled, flecked stone finish to the metal. The lion head adornments are mounted on glass plaques- no detail has been spared.

So attractive- a very rare piece and a timeless classic.
