An estate made wooden duck decoy

A wonderful, estate made, country house decoy duck- beautifully and simply carved with great form.

We especially love where an extra piece of wood has been added to the duck’s side and rounded off- you can just make out the seam and the iron tack (images 9 & 10). A real piece of folk art!

A great looking thing with oodles of character.
