An early mahogany fireside peat bucket and stand

An absolutely beautiful and rare design of an early peat or coal bucket.

The detailing on this piece is stunning from the leaf shaped rivet of the handle to the organic waisted design of the slatted body.

The mahogany stand is in excellent order with original brass liner bucket (which has one breakthrough flap and some thinning cracked areas though it’s intact and still useful).

A beautiful piece to grace any fireside.
