A stunning antique etching depicting the Sistine Madonna (La Madonna Di San Sisto) by Rafaello/Raphael Sanzio (Mary Leidelmann Muller). The artwork itself was commissioned in 1512. This etching is from the picture in the Dresden gallery. Believed to date to the early 1800s (first half). Museum quality. Very beautiful- exceptionally so- with the wear as seen ratifying its age. In its original oak and gilt frame. Glazed. A breath taking piece; the photos do not do it justice.
