A superb, characterful, and rare life size carved wood lay figure for use on or off its stand.

This 21st century example is wonderfully made and displays so well.

He’s superbly flexible/posable (designed as an artist’s figure to aid in drawing, not as a shop mannequin but equally awesome in both capacities) with a large range of movement including a tilting head.

This piece can be displayed on the stand (adjustable for crouching etc) or can be removed and sat, knelt etc. It is an extremely heavy piece being solid carved wood!

A rare thing- you do not often find them at this size.
