A wonderfully time-worn field amputation saw. We believe this dates to the late 1700s/early 1800s, but please satisfy yourself.
Believed to be a Napoleonic field amputation saw, this piece has its original blade and wooden handle.
Please note: there is a split to the handle but no repair- it does not go all the way through.
An excellent display piece and addition to any collection.
Overall height 5.5cm
Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact.
