A white cast iron Britannia Abolitionist garden table with 2 chairs

An absolutely sublime set, this will complete any garden or orangery. It is the set you have been waiting for…

With the most wonderful casting and weathering that only time can produce, this set is exceptional.

The original Britannia table is an early example, true Victorian (c.1833-1880 to commemorate the abolition of slavery- such pieces were made by Holdsworth and Co, and T Green amongst other top foundries), with a 3 plank painted wooden top and cast iron base. It’s extremely good quality, very heavy, and beautifully cast. It has a pierced lower tier, Union Jack, Britannia and lion head motifs. All raised on paw feet.

The chairs are later examples, heavy gauge cast aluminium, with superb ram’s head motifs to the legs and dancing maidens to the backs. This married set looks utterly perfect together.

No maker’s marks but certainly one of true quality.

Do not pass these by. You will not find better!
