A beautifully rendered original oil on canvas. Signed/dated indistinctly A M Dealy lower right.

This charming portrait has a label verso with some superb provenance, so we know this portrait is of William Boulton (1820-1906) who was the Borough surveyor of Aberdeen. Passed down through the family.

Nicely framed. Period. Oak with gilt inner slip.
