A Victorian mahogany pedestal desk on castors

A truly gorgeous, compact, useable Victorian pedestal desk.

Just a stunning shape and for us, the perfect patina with the right amount of age related wear.

Raised on castors. All drawers have brass locks (no key).

Greek key design to the black pad (a waxed canvas rather than leather).

The desk separates into 3 pieces (top and two pedestals) making it ideal for transportation and getting into a smaller, more compact space. 

A piece we would truly love to keep, but luckily for you, looking for its new home.

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. Please note: this desk has had a life! There is marking to the top, both the wood and black pad. The pad has losses as seen. The veneer has lifting in places (on the pedestal side- it looks like it may have been wet at one time) and there are small losses to corners etc. Some knobs are old replacements. As you can see though, the piece is still glorious!
