A very old lion chimera garden statue

A superb and exceptionally rare gargoyle or chimera with the head of a lion and the body of a dragon.

This superb piece has good age and has had its features worn smooth over the passage of time. We believe it would have been a keystone or cornerstone, orientated to look down on the looker below.

Weathered to perfection, a truly rare and special piece.
