An enormous, magnificent statement piece, this original painting on canvas is an impressive piece at 165cm x 127cm/over 5ft x 4ft.
This very rare and most unusual hand painted piece is inspired by Eishi Hosoda’s work (1756-1829) entitled ‘Itsutomi’.
The canvas is backed by board and framed in a black gloss and gold surround. The frame has been professionally reinforced and neatened up and is ready to hang.
This piece has a wonderful look and likely dates to mid-century.
Please note: we also have a pair of smaller complimentary pieces offered separately as seen in the final image.
