A very large concave parabolic mirror ~ 90cm

A simply stunning and absolutely huge concave mirror.

This parabolic mirror has a glass plate and a beautiful frameless mounting system so it is easy to hang (the retaining bracket is mounted to the wall, then the mirror locked in place). The piece is contemporary but has a Deco feel with it’s classic frameless design.

This large piece is truly a rare beauty. Originally part of a trio in a Parisian night club, this type of piece rarely comes to market and if you wanted to buy or commission one this size you would have to pay upwards of £2000!

It creates superb swirling distortions and flips images upside down, but is also useable as a conventional mirror when looking into the centre at relatively close range. A fascinating thing!
