A student's lamp candlestick with parabolic shade

An absolutely beautiful antique student’s lamp.

This piece displays so well and reflects the light in its gleaming parabolic shade excellently, so it is both very decorative and a useable thing.

The central spring loaded system works as it should, feeding the candle up the column until a new one needs to be loaded.

The lamp is silver plated we believe, though not tested.

Such a romantic piece, and an excellent example of its kind.
