A red and gold lacquer Chinoiserie cabinet

A simply stunning, red and gilt Chinoiserie cabinet.

This hand painted wooden piece, which is stunning in its own right, is also an extremely useable piece of furniture.

Internally, there is an upper portion beneath which are 2 drawers, and then finally a lower portion with a dividing shelf.

So prettily and delicately detailed. It is extensively decorated to the front, with both sides and the top also being painted. The back is black lacquer.

This is the one you’ve been waiting for. The colour is absolutely vibrant and it cannot fail to make an impact.

Currently this has just been painted in but could be filled. This cabinet has some minor lacquer losses as seen, but overall these are minimal and do not detract. There are no locks/toggles.
