A rare Coalbrookdale Nasturtium pattern cast iron garden bench

A fantastic cast iron and wooden bench, following the very rare Coalbrookdale 'Nasturtium' pattern. We cannot find a maker's mark as the bench has been repainted over the years, so this is sold as 'in the style of'.

The Nasturtium pattern appears as number 44 in the 1875 Castings catalogue.

The beautifully ornate ends have, for us, the perfect flaky white paint and rusty patina.

The slats have been replaced at some point.

A very heavy piece! The bench is sturdy and solid.

An ample two seater. A truly lovely thing.

This bench would look perfect in any garden, or indoors in a hallway, conservatory or orangery.
