A rare Chinese demi-lune console table

A very unusual Chinese half moon table with cloud motifs and faux bamboo carving. This is a rare, early piece.

In natural wood with black and red lacquered elements.

A very large size (122cm x 59cm top, height 87cm).

This table has great age and is at least 19th century if not earlier. It is not without issues but this is reflected in the price and detailed below.

If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. As seen in the images, but not limited to: surface wear throughout. This table has had lots of woodworm in the past but it has been treated as a precaution and watched, though there has been nothing active for decades! The top is split as seen (natural knot). The table has some movement as the lower frieze is detached at each back leg but when against a wall it is sufficiently strong to use without issue.
