A Charlie McCarthy ventriloquist's dummy

This Charlie McCarthy ventriloquist dummy is an extremely rare and truly wonderful, very early example being made of composite not plastic (first quarter 20th century).

Charlie wears his original, short run outfit rather than the more common coattails. He is almost impossible to find in this model. 

This little charmer is in absolutely great order for his ripe old age and would be a superb addition to any collection.

We picked him up on an international buying trip in Kennebunkport, Maine, USA.

We were sad when we sold him the first time round, but he's come back to us at last! He had been in one true connoisseur's collection prior to that and now he can be yours.
