A pair of very large amethyst glass apothecary bottles

An absolutely wonderful, original pair of very large (37cm!), purple glass, late 19th/early 20th century apothecary jars with original gilt glass labels.

Extremely rare- we have never seen such large examples.

This pair are in a beautiful, exceptionally rare, rich amethyst glass. Utterly captivating.

Excellent decorative pieces.

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. One jar has a shear to the underside of the rim lip as seen from the side and above in the final two images.
