A gorgeous late Victorian/early Edwardian mahogany pedestal desk. The proportions are great on this example: it is ample without being too large.
For us, this piece has the perfect patina with the right amount of age related wear. It’s in great overall condition and structurally it is solid and sound.
All drawers have brass locks (no key). All the Regency style ring handles are present.
Each pedestal has 4 drawers and there is one central drawer (9 in total). The two bottom drawers on each side are deeper.
Tooled gold design to the perfectly worn russet leather pad.
A wonderfully stylish and useful piece, looking for its new home.
PLEASE NOTE: This desk is one piece- it does not separate.

There are some small veneer losses. The leather top has wear as shown- a look we love! Good sturdy/solid construction.
