A wonderfully vibrant and realistic still life oil painting on canvas, depicting a pewter tankard surrounded by a host of red apples, with a visiting bee! All brought to the fore by that endless dark backdrop.

This painting has been professionally framed with its own attribute plaque, and is ready to hang.

The piece is signed Bailey and we can date the Rowney canvas stamp at that address from 1860-1951. The frame itself is stamped as Swedish.

A gorgeous, deliciously dark piece.
