A really handsome Victorian single drawer table of great proportions (4ft x 3ft), perfect as a kitchen or dining table.
The table top is an absolute work of art if you love patina as much as we do! Chippy paint finish to the rest of the table, white over an earlier pastel green.
Lovely shaped legs- you could add castors for a different look or added height.
Large central drawer, complete with Cater Paterson sticker. Carter Paterson were a road haulage firm founded in 1860, formed into a private company (Carter, Paterson & Co., Ltd.) in 1887, and converted into a public company in February 1934. In October 1933, the Big Four railway companies purchased control of the company in equal shares. Its head office was at 128 Goswell Road, London EC1. This label adds a charming little insight into the life of the table.
Such a gorgeous piece with a wonderful warmth to the wood. Quality that will last.
