A large glass apothecary jar or carboy - 56cm

A very large and truly beautiful, original chemist’s glass carboy.

This wonderful carboy would once have stood in a chemist’s window filled with coloured liquid, acting as a trade sign for those of the population who couldn’t read.

This exceptional piece (56cm x 103cm!) displays beautifully and is one of two similar pieces currently on offer, listed separately.

Carboys are now just so hard to come by, and this is an excellent example in superb order, complete with its huge stopper.

Perfect for any setting, we think it displays so well in a bathroom or kitchen.
