This is the most stylish, sumptuous and unmistakably Mid Century sofa! A rare thing. This piece is certainly Mid Century: helped to date by its zips and castors, and likely Italian.
A generous three seater (it could easily seat four), the extremely high quality leather has worn to the most supple, soft feel. The patina is a beautiful green-brown.
The boat or curved egg shape of the sofa gives it stunning lines. All corners are rounded including the back and sides.
No expense has been spared, backing the leather in a golden nubuck as well as the interior of the sofa, to ensure grip. The cushions are trimmed in green corduroy and have ‘lightening’ zips.
The sofa hovers on 6 unseen brown Kendrick style ball castors which are recessed so that the sofa just sits a few centimetres above the ground. It glides!
The sofa is well worn but structurally sound. There is particular wear to the left side and arm as you look at the sofa. This is as photographed.
An absolutely exceptional, stylish piece in what we consider to be the perfect state of wear.
A rare thing, and a complete bargain.

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. Please note that this sofa has come from a smoker’s home and as such has an odour between old leather and tobacco. It would benefit from a clean/wipe down. There is plenty of wear and scuffs etc but no rips or tears.
