A human skull

A beautiful and rare piece, this old human skull is a retired medical example which was owned by an artist as a reference model- we even have an oil painting made from this life (or death) study. 

Part varnished but leaving the mandible as it was. There are also old medical cuts where the skull was transected though it has subsequently been made whole again.  

Comes with it’s tin storage box. 

One for the true collector and lover of all things anatomical.
