A Georgian oak tilt top table

A simply wonderful tilt top table, with the warmest patina to the Georgian oak. Three plank top.

Superbly turned pedestal.

The tilt mechanism works well- the hook and the pins are all wood (an early example).

A very stylish thing and rare in oak.

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. As seen in the images, but not limited to: plenty of wear to all surfaces. Possible very old repair to the leg, certainly strengthened with the metal brace on the underside. Structurally sound and sturdy.
