A fortune teller's crystal ball on a gold Art Nouveau stand

A wonderful, very large ‘crystal’ gazing ball and stand (35cm tall).

The base of the piece is a gold tone and is quintessentially Art Nouveau in style. A superb example.

The ball is a later addition as it is smooth whereas very early ones are rippled. It nestles perfectly in the stand. It’s very large itself at around 16cm!
