A distressed mercury glass Louis Philippe gilt mirror

A stunning, beautifully foxed French mirror with a mercury glass plate. Nicely sized, good proportions, and heavy. A great Louis Philippe/Victorian period piece.

Wood and gesso frame. Probably overpainted across the years.

A wonderfully romantic piece.
