A dissected wet specimen of a white rabbit.

An absolutely superb dissected wet specimen of a white rabbit.

The detail and quality of this piece is really extraordinary (there are even sections of smooth tissue/muscle where the veins and arteries have been drawn on by hand).

You are unlikely to find a better example.

This vintage piece was salvaged from a college laboratory and is very likely by T. Gerrard and Co. of London, but is not labelled as such. It is therefore sold as unattributed.

The majority of the other pieces that were salvaged from the same lab were from Gerrard and this is in exactly the same style, with the same labelling - style and font - so it seems a reasonable deduction.

Please note that the fluid can be topped up by the buyer, if desired, by a stopper located at the top of the piece.

Having inspired generations of students in an educational setting, it’s time to find its new home.
