A Chinese ginger jar with lid

A gorgeous Chinese lidded ginger jar, of very good proportions (skull is life size).

The pattern is just lovely.

This jar is good, heavy quality and is stamped WBI (World Banking Institute- mid century, designed to stimulate the Chinese economy). Hand painted detailing.

A superbly decorative piece, and hard to find at this large size.
