A child's ride on elephant mounted as a fairground galloper

A superb, old child’s ride-on elephant mounted as a fairground galloper. A rare, joyful thing! A complete one-off.

The previous owners mounted this Indian elephant (we call her Nelly) on a wonderful, bright red barley twist pole and made the base of the stand look like Nelly has escaped her carousel and taken some of the boards with her! Utterly magical!

It is hand painted and the elephant itself is fibreglass we believe. Base is wooden.

This will be a fantastic statement piece in any interior be it for an extraordinary, quirky home, a child’s bedroom, a bar/restaurant or shop display. There won’t be another!
