A wonderful Anglo-Indian campaign chest of drawers which has been converted to a coffee table on castors.
The piece comprises three drawers, in a two over one configuration offering perfect storage however you use it.
The chest has all the original brass corner fittings associated with this style of furniture, including brass carrying handles. The large brass handle plates are lovely. It’s such a handsome piece!
The lock plate has a makers name as shown but we are not sure of the word.
Extremely heavy! A sure sign of quality.
Originally we believe this may have been the removable top portion of a larger campaign piece, but converted with ball castors long ago.
A very attractive and useful storage solution.

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. As seen in the images, but not limited to: plenty of wear, marks, losses and so on. Structurally sound. Very heavy. There are two strips of wood as seen in the final picture which have come off the lower edges so can be restored if desired. The right internal net storage in the lid is not functional as the frame is cracked as seen. The left is fine. Key present but the lock plate is missing. Priced to reflect these issues.
