A bronze ecclesiastical censer

A superb and very rare ecclesiastical lantern or censer- the uses were often interchangeable. 18th or 19th century.

The work is just beautiful and the piece is substantial. The putti finials are very nicely cast.

These do not come up often so don’t miss it.
