A cast iron bistro table with hand-painted chess board top

A very unusual and absolutely gorgeous Victorian table. We absolutely love this piece.

Heavy cast iron base that has been expertly hand painted to give it a convincing wood effect. The casting of the base is just beautiful- so ornate and a design we’ve never seen before.

Wooden top with hand painted chessboard in the centre. It makes the most striking base on which to display any special piece.

The base is brown and the top is a dark red-brown with black and white checks.

A wonderfully useful and exceptionally attractive piece. You will never see another. Perfect for a lamp, object… or any Grandmaster!

Lead chess pieces not included, but if desired, they can be offered separately. Please do get in touch for more details.
