A wonderful, large still life painting, oil on canvas.

This oil came from a country house and is every inch a wonderful example. 

‘Berceuse’ is a piece for violin (and piano) by Fauré, dating to the late 1800’s as featured in this evocative late Victorian painting. We love the Morris/Art Nouveau wallpaper!
