A wonderfully worn original Victorian top hat in a superbly shabby leather case.
The hat is certainly not perfect, but it is a good example and would be perfect for steampunking, theatrics, or display. The leather case has wear and losses as seen, and is brittle. However both pieces display beautifully and are full of romance.
The case has its key and the lock works. The other end of the strap needs stitching to the box but this is not broken, just in need of thread. The lovely old brass plaque at the top is yet to be inscribed. The interior is blue and white striped.
Inside width 15cm
Inside length 18.75cm
Inner circumference 52cm
