A 19th Century Scottish bobbin open armchair

A truly gorgeous, original Scottish bobbin chair. A beautifully stylish thing.

The chair is solid and sturdy, and a more unusual design and shape with the deep round back, open arms, and circular seat. The perfect desk chair.

We believe the back has the later addition of a padded wax canvas. This could be removed easily, and the original second bobbin tier can be seen within ready to be revealed!

Lovely turned legs. Worn to perfection. Wonderfully crafted.
