A 19th Century lollipop dome on an ebonised wooden base

A beautiful, very rare and extremely large Victorian glass dome.

Any piece or pieces will look superb in this dome be it taxidermy, a clock or objet d’art.

Sits on four bun feet and has a nicely turned and stepped edge. Ebonised finish. Flat back to the base so it will nestle against a wall well.

A glorious survivor! Rarely seen at this huge size.

Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. Please note: general wear. The glass rim may have minor fritting but no major chips, plus scratches, inclusions, marks etc. The base has marks and wear as seen. Both would benefit from a good clean!
