A stunning draftsman technical drawing set. Produced by A G Thornton of Manchester. The lozenge is inscribed 'FWB Scholefield 1903'.
Two pins left and right allow access. There is a secret compartment in the lid and a vibrant purple lining.
The address on the inside of the box dates this to c. late 1890s/early 1900s as per the inscription, as after this time Thornton changed locations.
A fine example of its kind.
