An Anglo-Indian folding tray table with bobbin base

A superb example of an early Anglo-Indian folding tray table, with the most beautiful bobbin carvings to the base in a part ebonised finish. This two-tone finish is truly handsome and most unusual. The intricately engraved top is also wonderful.

The table is steady and solid but these are not meant for heavy use or weighty items.
