A wonderful, old bronze vessel with characterful twin dragon head handles, which we believe is a Chinese open censer but has been used as a jardiniere.
This piece is in original condition and has a wonderfully worn verdigris patina though it could be cleaned and polished.
The censer was found discarded outside at a property where a drip had been falling onto the rim for decades, wearing away a small portion and creating our favourite quirk to this piece.
Reassuringly heavy.
A beautifully decorative thing and most unusual.
