A Victorian cast iron refectory table with wooden top by Thomas Green and Son

A truly beautiful and very large (181cm) refectory table, with a wooden top and intricate cast iron base. Excellent quality.

Each leg is cast with the maker along the bottom edge: T (Thomas) Green & Son Leeds & London* making this a wonderful piece with excellent provenance.

This table would make a superb dining table and can seat 6-8. It would also make a stunning shop display.

* Thomas Green & Son, Ltd. were engineers who manufactured a wide range of products at the Smithfield Foundry, Leeds and are most noted for tram engines, locomotives, road rollers, lawnmowers and some rarer furniture pieces such as pub tables.

Please note, as seen in the images, but not limited to: wear to the wooden top as seen, the base needs an additional screw to fully secure it to the top but it is fully useable and moveable as it is.
