A serpentine desk and leather chair by Bevan Funnell

A gorgeous serpentine front desk and leather seated chair.

This great writing table and chair are made by the renowned Bevan Funnell furniture company and are in excellent condition.

Serpentine shaped, always beautiful, the desk has an ‘antiqued’ mustard leather top with gilt tooling.

Below are three shaped and useful drawers, each drawer having brass ring handle. Another sign of the top quality craftsmanship.

The four tapered legs are reeded.

The chair has lovely lines too with those swept legs and twisted rope back support. The seat is a gorgeous matching mustard and brown colour leather. Soft and supple.

A very useable, stylish pairing. The proportions are great on this example.

For us, these have the perfect patina with the right amount of age related wear. They are structurally solid and sound.
