A white pedestal desk

A great twin pedestal Victorian breakfront desk which has been painted off-white by a previous owner.

The ‘bones’ of this piece are great, and it’s solid and sturdy with locking drawers and plenty of workspace and storage. It would also make an excellent dressing table.

This desk could be stripped, or re-painted (it would look stunning perhaps in an outlandish stripe, or maybe a Scandinavian geometric black and white diamond pattern, or I wanted to leopard print it!). That said, it’s absolutely charming as it is if this colour works with your interior.

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. As seen in the images, but not limited to: plenty of wear. There are knocks to the wood, and losses to the paint. There is a central heating crack to one pedestal as seen but this is partial and is stable- no movement. Key works middle and left drawer. It would benefit from a wipe over. Displays well. Structurally sound.
